APPLICATION DEADLINE

All materials must be received (not postmarked) by 11:59 PM on March 5, 2027. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
COLORADO DESTINATION IMAGINATION CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Colorado Destination Imagination Continuing Education Scholarship supports graduating seniors who have participated in the DI program as they pursue further education in any field — including college, military service, and trade schools.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a graduating high school senior in Colorado (Class of 2027)
- Must have participated in DI — as a team member or volunteer
- Covers college, military service, trade schools, or any continuing education
WHAT TO SUBMIT
Submit one copy of each of the following three items:
- Letter of Introduction (1 page maximum) — a personal statement covering your DI involvement, interests, future plans, and relevant background.
- Scholarship Application Form — download, print, and complete the application form (PDF).
- “I DO DI” Creative Project — show us how DI has supported your future goals. Be creative: past examples include essays, videos, art, puzzles, mobiles, baking, card decks, and woodworking. It must fit in a 10" × 12" × 6" box (or smaller), and be no more than 1 page or 5 minutes in length.

WHAT JUDGES LOOK FOR
- How DI has enriched your personal growth and citizenship
- Creativity and originality in your “I DO DI” project
- Your story and impact — not a list of awards or achievements
- This scholarship is not based on grades or test scores
- Tip: creative projects and videos typically score higher than written essays
