2016 Destination Imagination Colorado Tournament and Awards Ceremony

All of these trainings are offered to anyone working with a Destination Imagination team. There is no charge to you – it is paid for through your Colorado Affiliate fees. You only need to attend one training but are welcome to come to as many as you’d like. There will be webinars available shortly.

We have FOUR in-person Team Manager trainings in the Denver Metro Area. These events are open to ALL team managers! There is no registration process, please just show up!

Introduction and Basic Skills for New Team Managers

Are you a brand new team manager? Do you know very little about DI, or you are struggling with knowing what do next? This training opportunity is for you!

We will cover the basics of what it is to be a team manager and how to lead your team through the creative problem solving process. This training will give you the basics on what to do on that first team meeting, how to get your team unstuck without interference, and give you team building ideas.

Registration begins at 8:30. Join us for a great morning of tips, tricks and advice on how to be a team manager. This training is geared for 1st Year team managers, and discusses the process of Destination Imagination. Any team manager is welcome to attend. We will not be discussing specific Team Challenges in this training.

Team Manager Training Agenda

Whether you have been a DI Team Manager for 2 years, 10 years, or if this is your first year, this is the training for you. We begin the morning with a brief overview of DI followed by Instant Challenge Training and Challenge Training. You don’t know what challenge your team wants to solve, there is an overview class as well. After a brown bag lunch, you can choose from a variety of classes that teach some team manager essentials.
